They now have on the market manually operated plumbing press tools for .5, .75, and 1.0 inch copper press fittings.
If you could manufacture a battery operated tool that could operate the manually operated press fitting tool by removing the handles and connecting the battery operated tool to where the handles connected, then with the push of a button it would close and then open the press tool electrically instead of manually.
All you would need to manufacture would be the tool to open and close the already existing press head.
Ryobi could buy directly from the company the manual tool and include it with the press motor that Ryobi would mfg.
