The idea is simple, Nissan did a good job with the designs of their 3 main sedans but power plant wise not so. First of all they should put the newly developed vc turbo engine in the Sentra with an optional awd drive train and a 6 speed manual or traditional automatic.
Secondly for the Altima they should switch the 2.5 litre engine for the vq35 v6 with optional manual.
And finally the Maxima being their "Full size sports sedan" should switch from the vq35 v6 to the VH56 v8 and an awd drivetrain with manual transmission or paddle shifters and all of the above should come in the Nismo package.

Instaed of a regular 6 speed or auto the Maxima should come with a DTC as standard.

I would like to correct myself. Nissan should use the VK56VD in the Maxima with awd and a six speed manual ort paddle shifters with the nosmo package as well.
