Emergency Information On Phones
Samsung Product Improvement IdeaSubmitted 8 years ago
Hi
I have a samsung galaxy s6 Edge and the phone is brilliant. How ether I've just put in my emergency details that are accessible via the locked screen and it seems a little hidden to me. You need to go into the emergency call area and then click on another button to access the information. Its great that you can do this but my improvement idea would be to allow this information to be accessed directly from the lock screen somewhere maybe by pressing a recognised first aid related button. Seems to me that the information should be able to be accessed as quickly as possible and also that as it is tucked away I would be suprised if even emergency services are aware that this is an option. If you could choose the have this information directly on your lock screen it may increase the speed in which the information is seen and thus improve chances of survival in a situation where speed is the key or allergies may be a factor. Especialy if a person is unconscious and they have a phone upon their person that a emergency service staff member is rifling through. Just an idea to improve the life saving potential of this option. If a person doesnt want this they could then just turn it off or move the button. Perhaps also whilst I'm mentioning it, a greater awareness of this option to the emergency services and the public might also make your phone products more desirable to buy... I had no idea you could do this on a phone.
Thank you very much for your time.
Kind regards
