Theft Protection...

With all the upgrades smartphones such as Sumsung has had these past years is amazing.
But the downside to this is that with all the new cool gadgets this generation and the next is going to give us, can only mean one this the value of such things are going to drasticly increase meaning they will be a very saught out item for a theif to steal. Its generally very easy atm to get away with stealing someones cell phone, Take tonight for example i realised midway through the night out that my phone was missing. Tried calling it see if i maybe had misplanced it which i really was certain i hadnt but ye you know , gotta be sure. But ye when i call the phone was turned off. So yea i obviously realise that someone grabbed my phone and i went pretty much straight home. To try and locate where its position is. But ye like i thought riding the tram home that htere would be no hit if the phone is off . So yea id like to propose that you look into certain things that could make a phone thiefs like alittle if not alot harder. Like i have some ideas , obviously i dont know a whole lot about technology. But atleast i got some ideas if there are terrible just ignore them , but i just thought id put a couple out there.

1. Make it possible to turn on a cell phone which has been turned off. With this it should be easy to get a read on where the phone is.

2. Booby trap the phone with a remotly dye packs. Which should be able to detonate even if the phone is off. The paint should obivously stick for quite a while.

3. Give the cellphone a silent distress signal which by a remote can be activated. Even if the phone is in a dorment state

4. Facial scan so the phone has to recognise the owner. (Perhaps even eye scan ;) )

5. I know might sound extreme but keep in mind its just an idea.
However using DNA to unlock our phones would probably be the ultimate way to secure ones privacy on you own phone atleast.

6. Start a dedicated group of trackers who can take the workload from the police and the individuals. Would generate more jobs and give cops time to fight some real crime

7. Implent a tracker chip in the phones and give the owner the responsibility to store it until something happens. So that the public wouldnt feel as if their lifes were being monitored

Most important thing to me tho is that you or the customer should be able to turn on the phone remotly and get a loaction of what has been stolen.

Just kinda sucks that during this time of year when money is at all time low i now have to go pay to get my new phone , oh well merry christmas to me i guess. Anyway Merry Christmas to you all and a happy new year
