Reducing Thickness Of Mobile Phone

My idea is very simple and can help to reduce the thickness of mobile phone." If we insert the half thickness of IC (integrated circuit ) in the PCB" it can help to reduce the thickness and also improve the robustness.
ex- suppose the thickness of the chip is 1mm and the thickness of the PCB is also 1mm, if we insert the 0.5mm thickness of chip inside PCB till 0.5mm the we can save 0.5mm and due to inserting robustness also increase.
