GPS Location For Emergency Calls

Samsung Other Idea

Submitted 7 years ago

When a person makes an emergency call on their mobile, the operator always asks where the person is. If for example a person is in distress and unable to properly identify their location, or a person is unfamiliar with the area and doesn't know street/road names, where phones are equipped with GPS technology, sending the phones GPS location when making an emergency call would reduce response times if the persons location was immediately known.
