I also use to take a person's body temperature, like when camping orif somebody doesn't have a medical thermometer. Also useful to prevent heatstroke from overheating.

Samsung phones should have a thermometer and humidity display feature and possiblyly even barometric pressure.
This would be great for recording/tracking indoor climate control or outdoor weather conditions.
A simple application could display the current values and track trend data.
