Lights Out

Chrysler Product Improvement Idea

Submitted 9 years ago

Have a new idea for a feature on new vehicles. Worked with a couple of electrical engineering consulting companies in an attempt to develop an after market device but neither could come up with a solution without reworking and reprogramming the mother board.
The idea is to have an electrical circuit that will monitor the continuity of all major lights (i.e. Head lights bright and dim, tail lights, break lights, etc.) When a light bulb burns out the circuitry would detect a break in the continuity and notify the operator, through a light on the dash, that a bulb was burned out.
