Skylanders Apprentices (game 7)

Have a set of apprentices to buy that have only one ability and the player must decide whether to invest experience in the apprentice to boost their assistance to the skylander or the skylander's own level. It would have apprentices that serve as healers, decoys, tanks, treasure collectors (during battles), increase range of damage, increase amount of damage, etc. You can also choose to have an apprentice and skylander connected and have them both level up at the same time, but you cannot reset the apprentice if you choose to do that. It allows for a lot of toys, classes, and extras purchases for players who prefer not to have to choose between leveling up a skylander or just the apprentice. The apprentices could be half the size of the skylander characters making them more like sidekicks in appearance. Apprentices would have automatic moves and you wouldn't play them, but you could select which moves they would have. Their purpose would be to help the skylander's stats but instead of hats - use an animated character. You could even do variations of previous characters by making the apprentice be of the same species as a popular skylander - like a tiny dragon from dragon island with a spiked tail instead of horns or a tiny elf with a mohawk.
