True crime was a great game in its day despite the known bugs. There were plans for TrueCrime: Hong Kong but they were cancelled and remodelled to become Black lotus (Sleeping Dogs).
The good cop / bad cop mechanic is so unique and with modern technology, this mechanic can be explored further. This with the ability to be whatever type of cop you wanted to be was incredible.
Things I would love to see in this
- Alternative stories lines based on good/cop reputation that run parallel
- Alternative ending
- Character origin prologue
- Separate weapon sets for good/bad cop
- Character customisation
- Vehicle Customisation (items made available in line with good/bad cop rep)
- Possible locations: London, Chicago, Atlanta, China Town, Rio
