Vacuum Seal Fresh Cut Items

How many times have people forgotten about meat that they bought at the store? We've all done it. Sometimes we freeze it to stretch the shelf life, but that isn't always the best idea. I propose stores incorporating a vacuum seal machine. For a relatively cheap price, meat/deli departments can charge a dollar to have their item vacuum sealed. It can be refrigerated longer, not relying on the freezer which can severely degrade the item.
