Toddler Cell Phone

If you see kids today you know that they all know how to use and play on real cell phones. I have a 19month old son and he's been working my iPhone since he turned 1. The toy phones being sold in the market now don't hold his attention because he knows the difference between those and the real thing. So I was thinking why not make a toddler phone, with a real touch screen, and wifi to download apps. And maybe add in. Voice recorder for mom and dad to record and the kids can "call" and talk to them whenever they want? Let me know what you guys think.
