Anti Hijack Idea

United Airlines Other Idea

Submitted 8 years ago

this is just a thought that occurred ,as most commercial aircraft are powered with sophisticated computers if the computers could relay all information from vital sensors etc to a computer on the ground , maybe this could be hooked up to a flight simulator and in the event of a problem with the crew or a hijacking, pilots could take over control through a simulator on the ground sort of like remote control .i guess there would have to be some sort of top level clearance and some way of locking the pilot of the actual plane out, but maybe in emergency situations it could be a viable assett
