Much Lighter Weight Liquid Propellant Tanks For NASA.

US Department of Transportation New Product Idea

Submitted 4 years ago

From searching (Internet), currently speaking composite material liquid propellant tanks don't look that great. Currently the Space Shuttle External Tank is made from an Aluminum Lithium Alloy, My ides make tiny holes over tank's entire surface area then apply coating
sealing holes and thermal protection (cryogenic propellant). Recently Space Shuttle External Tank was 60,000 pounds, Believe the holes will reduce ET weight 1/2, applying 10,000 pounds of coating (s) External Tank will weigh only 40,000 pounds.

Name Wesley R. Deitle email address not available, can reach me weekends (Eastern Time)
Thank you very much.
