Heartbeat

In todays maternity ward the nurseries have almost become obsolete. After the birthing process today's mother is allotted bonding time with their newborn. This skin to skin contact allows the infant to hear the rhythm of their mothers heartbeat. This rhythm is soothing to the infant and has many health benefits. My idea is a continuation of this rhythm in car seats, sensor toys, mattresses, swings. This will help with anxiety for mother and child. By recording the mothers heartbeat this will allow the child to continue to be soothed while mom is able to do other activities around the house.
