Let's face it, too many people are relying on phone GPS in place of stand alone GPS units. Why not add features which make the stand alone GPS units stand out such as being able to download via Wi-Fi or purchase plug in memory cards or cartridges which contain new celebrity voice packs. Traveling with directions narrated by the likes of Pee Wee Herman, Harrison Ford as Han Solo, Yoda, Brainy Smurf... you get the idea. Make GPS fun and quirky. It could also be a fun idea to program in fun and historical facts about areas which you are driving through. For heavens sake make GPS units fun before they die.
