Flip Top For Subaru Remote

Subaru New Product Idea

Submitted 5 years ago

Many times there are accidental activation of a remote. This has happened to me with the unintended activation of the power hatch release while the car is in the garage causing the hatch to hit the garage door and causing minor damage. Couldn't the remote key fob be designed like the early flip phones. These were about the same size as today's key fobs. The fob controls could be under the flip top and protect them from accidental touches. A simple exterior button could release the flip top for access to the fob's controls. Also, maybe a snap on flip top shell could be design to be compatible with present day key fobs.
