Take a block like the ej2.5 use half of it make it run on 2 cylinders kinda like a snowmobile. Make it turbo idk td04.possible diesel. Then make that work with an electric engine like the Tesla so that when u turn on ur cruise controll the electric motor runs the car down the road. and the small engine gas or diesl turbo shuts off.
