Pie Tin That Doesn't Burn Crust

I always put foil around the pie tin to keep from burning the crust. If you added a foil strip to the pie tin that could be bent down over the crust, it would make baking Sara Lee pies a near perfect experience.
People buy ready to bake Sara Lee pies largely for the convenience. This modest addition would be the difference between me buying a pie for special events and buying a pie regularly. It would also differentiate you from the competition. It is the little conveniences that can really make your product stand out.
