Ryobi Dual Battery Brushless Blower

Ryobi New Product Idea

Submitted 4 years ago

For those of us heavily invested in the One+ battery platform, the current offering of leaf blowers are simply under powered due to the limitation of an 18V battery system. To address this, Ryobi should consider a blower that uses a dual battery system with each battery pack set up in series to give 36V of output. This, with a suitable brushless motor, should give performance similar to that of 40-50V systems. This could also help keep customers with the Ryobi brand, rather than jumping ship to a new high voltage platform, of which there are IMO better platforms than the Ryobi 40V ecosystem of products.
