Idea To Provide A Much Needed On-Demand PayPal Buttons

To whom it may concern at PayPal,

This Idea/concept is been FREELY given to PayPal without expecting any compensation whatsoever, but a simple reply from PayPal would be greatly appreciated. Since this idea (I believe) will help them get into the huge On-Demand market which is already a new amazing platform used by filmmakers, video makers and tv producers around the world. Only that the current "gatekeepers" are making the system more difficult and expensive than it should be.

You may have already noticed the huge increase and need for Video On-Demand for video and tv programming (including films on demand).

As indie-Filmmakers, Television and Video Producers ourselves, here is what's been happening in the On-Demand arena:

We are mostly an indie Film & TV, Video Production company, so we Sell Video Programming online, we also strongly believe in Self-Distribution and this is why, this new PayPal buttons would be a Blessing for many. And the thing now is that Video, Film and TV programming has already gone On-Demand which allows viewers to either Rent it Now! or Buy it Now! but... once they Pay through PayPal... they want the video to 'Play Live' - right from whatever Cloud the video has been stored.

People who are now Watching Television On-Demand (which is already the current reality and more so the future of Internet programming. People now want to Click on the Pay Pal button, that says either Rent It Now! or Buy it Now! The issue is that these buttons unfortunately are not currently available from PayPal. Just as their other buttons are.

But just a Button is not enough...for the system to work properly. And here is my idea, which I believe would work very well and very simple for PayPal...

The only thing that's needed, if for video content producers, acquire a PayPal button with the Rent It Now! and Buty It Now! but for On-Demand purposes.
And I know PayPal may not want to get into the business of 'Video Cloud storage', they could just add links on their page (as they've done in the past) and list the 'participating cloud company providers', like for example 'Google Drive' (which we love and use), etc.

How It would work:

That would be amazing! Since we (indie-filmmakers and producers) would be able to log on to our Pay Pal account, create our On-Demand buttons: 'Rent It Now' or "Buy It Now' buttons (which would already include the ability for us to add 'our own' Cloud Link from ... let's say: Google Drive and link it to the exact Video, Film or Program that we have on our Google Drive, and Done!

The key would be to have the PayPal Rent It and Buy It Now! buttons link directly to our own Cloud Storage system. That way, PayPal doesn't need to get involved into the storage part of the business, but It does provide the right buttons we (the filmmaker, video producer community DESPERATELY NEEDS to get our movies sold through our PayPal buttons. And I do believe that it would be PayPal's concern and best Interest to create such buttons, since, that's what PayPal has done from the beginning... create buttons for us (PayPal Members :)

For example, right now, there are not that many On-Demand providers, and Vimeo On-Demand which were one of the first that came out with their (PayPal) system... but here is the problem, they are way too expensive - charging us $200. a year, plus they get a cut too. We don't think that's fair. That's way too much for small indie filmmakers and video producers. We like the PayPal direct system best. But for now, we had to go with Vimeo-On-Demand and but we plan to cancel it this year.

An Example

Here's our movie on Vimeo-On Demand so that you have a better idea as to 'exactly' on Demand buttons are being used (outside of PayPal). The Idea is for PayPal to provide a Rent It Now and Buy It Now buttons with the ABILITY to connect a direct link from the On-Demand PayPal button to our Cloud Link, where our movie or video is located, given our Website visitors the ability to choose from Renting of Buying our videos; including the ability to Download or Play them back LIVE! from our own Cloud Storage system. Here is our movie on demand at this time on Vimeo, but we can't wait to Do it all within PayPal:
