Sun Visors Re-invented

Nissan Product Improvement Idea

Submitted 5 years ago

Make the sun visors thicker with a cavity in the middle. Fill the cavity with 2 pull down visors. One for night driving( amber) to protect from glaring lights and one for daytime driving( darkened shade) to keep sun out of drivers eyes. They could be mounted on tracks within the visor and pull down one at a time. There is a product on the market called tac visor. I have one but there are a lot of problems with it. It clips onto the car's original sun visor making it impossible to pull down the visor to look in the mirror plus it is not long enough to keep sun and headlights out of drivers eyes, especially shorter drivers. If there were pull down shades within the original visor, you would get added protection from the length of the original visor plus the pull down shade. When not in use they would be out of sight inside the original visor and you could still move the original visor around.
