In Boot Charging Access For Electric Vehicles

electric vehicles are great but as we move to apartment and high density living we can't guarantee a garage to set up a charging station. in a carport it leaves the charger open to abuse and it's impossible if parked street side. it would be great to have a second charger port within the boot and a battery capable of a single car charge so the car can be charged wherever it's parked. you can have 2 batteries one charging your car and one being charged on overnight rates. it also means you don't have to hope that the only charging station in 300 km is working and you can charge when staying overnight at a friend's place. you can have a warning that stops you driving with the battery plugged in. This would make a big difference to me going electric.
