GITS More Than A FPS

I have seen your trailer and art for Ghost in the shell online.
it looks amazing. However this franchise has repeatedly gotten a bad shake from the gaming market because the companies that gain the rights don't take the time to learn what they are making a game of.

I know this is going to sound like just a fan begging but please sit down and watch through the series. It in no way is a coop FPS. the whole series is rooted in ethical and philosophical considerations. it has always been about social considerations and the exploration of what it means to define self in such a world.

a FPS engine is okay and I even encourage the creation of a game that puts you in the shoes of the characters, but there is a lot more to GITS than putting on a sci-fi skin and a bunch of cyborg upgrades to shoot the crap out of arbitrary targets.

you make just your standard team shooter and you will do good for a while then the idea will die off. you address the feel and spirit of the world and original writing and you will have fans that will keep your company going into the next generation and beyond.

Please take the time to do the research and flesh this out, you will not be disappointed.
