I feel like the forest biome has not change in a while so I think that 1.18 update should be the forest update. Some of the new mobs could be deer and bigfoot, and a structure should be a log cabin where if you kill bigfoot, he will drop a pic of himself and you can trade that pic for something OP with the villager that lives in the cabin. A new block could be the camo block which you get from camo pieces that you find the forest and you can also make armor and tools with the camo pieces. There should also be hunting guns and ammo. A new redstone item could a net that you can use to catch things by using redstone. I hope these ideas help you with the 1.18 update. Thank You!
