Continuously Variable Gearbox

Mazda New Product Idea

Submitted 6 years ago

I am interested in studying the mechanism of the continuously variable transmission. Eventually, I designed a Continuously Variable Gearbox, which has a simple structure consists of two generalized planetary gear sets and a control system. It uses only mechanical elements without any frictional component. Hence, it is perfectly capable of transmitting high torques, which can be used even on trucks and racing cars. Moreover, due to non need for clutch presence, it can improve vehicle performance. Also, it is substantially more lightweight, compact and inexpensive than conventional CVTs (Belt-driven CVTs).
Since the patent application process is a complex and costly process, I have not filed any patent application concerning my research yet. Furthermore, I don't want to just get a patent, I want to make it practical. So, I am interested to cooperate with your company to move forward my invention. I was wondering if you could help me to contact someone who is responsible for this matter.
Best Regards,
Cyrus
