Post Mastectomy Line: Lululemon

My name is Kate Junkins and I'm 21. As a cycling instructor and lulu lover, I am a member of lululemon's sweat collective. Recently, I had a prophylactic double mastectomy and reconstruction. The post op wardrobe has been far from gorgeous, and it had me thinking of an excellent new line for lululemon. I propose that lulu starts a new line of post mastectomy bras. I am heavily involved within the world of medical oncology as both a patient and a breast cancer researcher. After having such a surgery at a young age (which many women do), finding the perfect bra is essential. Athleta has a line of post mastectomy bras, as well as brands such as Masthead pink and SheFit (which are smaller). I believe you could remodel the energy bra to be front closing, with Velcro or even hidden hooks. As 1 in 8 women will have breast cancer in their lives, this could incentivize women to turn to lulu for their post-mastectomy needs, while encouraging breast health.
