Controlling Cellphone Usage While Operating A Vehicle.

Kia Service Improvement Idea

Submitted 3 years ago

Many safety options are being offered by auto manufacturers every year, but theres one major safety issue that hasn't been TOTALLY addressed...HANDHELD cellphone usage while operating a vehicle. If drivers were unable to text while driving or, be unable to DIAL OR TEXT a handheld cellphone while driving, the roads would be much much safer, and individuals fortunate enough to own your beautiful Telluride would feel much more at ease while on the road. My suggestion is to create " drop zone" technology to prevent cellphone signal reception. Such technology would have to be linked to the vehicle being in motion. Simply put, if the vehicle is in motion the HANDHELD cellphone could not be received.. Some might say that such a suggestion is far fetched, but considering the many innovations that are already up an running, this technology is just like Xmas...it's just around the corner. Why not forge an alliance with all the cellphone companies to share your vision, and, having all of your tech wizards to get cracking on this trillion dollar idea. Please don't forget me after you've made it happen...RIDE ON!
