I would like to submit pictures and an idea for marketing. I think the slogan "next generation farmer" is what John Deere needs to signify a brand that is moving forward, yet keeping family farm in it's focus. I also have the perfect picture for that campaign. My son, Dustin, works on a 3rd generation family dairy farm, Royer Farms in Louisville, Ohio. He is in the field chopping corn when his wife, Melanie, brought his children (Piper and Paxton) for a visit, as many farm wives do because of the hours that they work. This picture was taken by Melanie while Dustin chopped and his son Paxton is watching him and playing with his toy JD chopper. Paxton is truly the next generation farmer. She has several other pictures from that evening along with his sister, Piper. We are a green (as in John Deere green) farm and family.
