Bookstand To Accompany A Lap Top

My son had to do state exams on a lap top this summer. I was unable to find a suitable bookstand to sit beside the laptop. It needed to be compact as school desks are quite narrow. Finally I discovered a bookstand at IKEA but the back of the bookstand was too low. i had to place a ruler on the stand, standing upright to hold the A4exam papers. If IKEA made this bookstand - made of bamboo -a bit taller, to hold A4 paper it would be ideal.
