Bug Moat

Home Depot New Product Idea

Submitted 8 years ago

A tubular structure that encircles the circumference of a dwelling at ground level.it has a streak of borax powder Running through the centre of it. All bugs that attempt to crawl up an exterior wall must enter the tube and crawl through the borax before getting to the wall. When exposed to borax bugs die within 48 hours. The same idea of protection against beg bugs, earwigs, cockroaches, sow bugs, etc., can be achieved inside dwellings by a baseboard and mouldings designed in similar fashion.Borax has been compared to table salt in its toxicity to humans.
