I would like propose HTC to integrate into your phones ENUMER service. This is standard rfc6116 system, allow your phone make direct and free VOIP calls to any phone, registered in this system (bypass PSTN). Currently, ENUMER allows participants call to all US Toll-free numbers, and other registered numbers, from the entire world.
ENUMER is free and decentralized (based on blockchain), and this is impossible to block or tamper this service.
I think, default using ENUMER would be great distinctive feature for your phones, and can boots your popularity. This system is free, and already implemented in the "Voip by Antisip softphone". See the article/whitepaper and other resources about ENUMER: http://enumer.org/#Usefulresources
