The car seat base for infants and the actual seat for toddlers and children who are not old enough to unbuckle themselves will have sensors that will register the childs weight and the temperature inside the car and will connect via an app on the parents phone the app will also allow acess to the parents gps that will allow the sensors to know when the car is in motion and when it is stopped. If the car is stopped and the childs weight is still being registered for longer than 5 minutes and the temperature inside the car registers as too hot or too cold the parent app along with the local police departments and fire departments will be notified.When the childs is taken out of the car seat or in the case of an infant seat when it detaches from the base the smart base\smart seat will go into a sleep mode to save battery life also the app will alert when the battery needs replaced. The goal of the smart base\ smart seat is to stop or reduce the number of deaths caused by children being left in their car seat when the temperature outside is either to hot or too cold.
