Locking Mail On Label Directory

Hello,
sometimes I need to select all messages from a label directory for deleting them. (for eg. spam....)
what do you think about some messages we could lock so they coud not be selected by the selectAll checkbox option ?
so I could delete my messages without having to unmark those I want to keep.
