Applications for the Powerod Arrow are like having a micro Tazer gun on an arrow head. The Powerod Arrow will solve a crude problem of unnecessary killing of the wrong animals by hunters. The arrow will help support the practice of "Good Gaming Practice" catch and release.
The head's aerodynamic shape is designed to be blunt so that the arrowhead will not penetrate the target skin but grab it. Inside the Powerod Arrowhead is a micro tazer circuit that will operate on 1.5 vdc and produce up to 80,000 volts at .4 milliamps. It also contains a micro timer to shut off the stun circuit to save battery power. In the nock there is a sensor that causes the arrow to be put in standby mode when bow string is detected.
