Why people move to digital?
Very simple You need to be more competitive price wise because digital is having bigger value.
I live in Ireland there was this loyalty card scheme yet the value of purchase you need to take is too big to get something in return.
Want to fix that?
Be more competitive, bring value to sales bigger than it is and stop targeting kids as it seems the biggest turnover you get from adult established gamers that have money.
Old marketing model won't work anymore. Have better discounts promotions multiple buy deals
And if continue with loyalty bring value to it not 5%when you buy 10games a year. I don't even buy 10 a year. Because I get value from ps plus and on top of that they bring in discounts all the time not 10%but 30,50,75so want to stay in business consider that.
Also I really needed accessories to ps vita years ago and willing to pay full price for them and I was told that gamestop won't order them for me nice business model especially that it was gamestop assortment stock out of stock of course like u couldn't order for customers discreace really start thinking customer first or soon you close your shops
