I am currently dealing with a minor situation and have been in contact with my local police department. As well known pedifiler like to hide there identify an also, they often are someone we know. In my situation my son age 13 had received a friend request from an elder guy. My son assumed it was a family member of ours because there was a family member of ours that was friends with this elderly guy. With this being said and long story cut short. I BELIEVE HIGHLY THAT THE SUGGESTED FRIENDS BOX BE REMOVED.To prevent pedifiler from Web surfing for victims. Yes, we know they are not supposed to be online, but we see how well this works. Had I not received a message or this guy sent another fried request to my boyfriend, this situation could have been disaster.
