New SEC Football Format

ESPN Other Idea

Submitted 2 years ago

2 best ways to do the SEC football conference... first -- (EAST)- Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, Florida, Tennessee, South Carolina, Kentucky, Vanderbilt.. (WEST)- Oklahoma, Texas, LSU, Texas A@M, Arkansas, Missouri, Ole Miss, Miss State ... 8 teams in each division having 7 games to play.. the 8th game would be a one time in the regular season East vs West half way in the conference season... its a very high chance that the 2 teams in SEC final would not be a rematch.......///.... the other way is Pods... (Far East)- Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Vanderbilt... (East)- Alabama, Auburn, Tennessee, South Carolina... (West)- LSU, Arkansas, Ole Miss, Miss State... (Far West)- Oklahoma, Texas, Texas A@M, Missouri... Far East and East teams would play each other with the West playing Far West teams in the regular season... total of 7 games... top team in each division (4 total) would play regular season semi-final with 1 vs 2 and 1 vs 2, with the winners playing in the SEC title... with the semi final set, the other teams would play each other based on the final records to play 8th game in the regualr season finale...this way , there would be no rematch in the regualr season..this format would leave 50 percent chance of rematch in sec title game .. just a couple of ideas there....
