GPS Assisted Cruse Control

Instead of introducing self driving features as a all in one system, gradually introduce the new technology a feature at a time and move gradually in that direction. The feature improvement I would like to see come true would be in regards to the current curse control system by introducing an upgrade called "GPS ASSISTED Cruse Control" GPS ASSISTED Cruse Control can be employed with present technology. It should retain all the safety overrides that the current cruse control systems have.

This new feature would allow the driver to avoid traffic tickets and drive at posted speed limits and avoid the distraction of having to constantly balance the speedometer needle and taking ones eyes of the road. One technical hurtle would be speed dampening for breaking to a lower posted speed from a current higher speed. I would like to see this accomplished using opposing electomagnetic forces in the breaking system to regulate and dampen the speed. I would also like to see the addition of preset buttons that can be program to the speed of my choice should I want to use manual curse control. It's important to stress that GPS ASSISTED Cruse Control is only and upgrade and can be over ridden or disengaged altogether.
