Auto Engine Shut Down After 1 Hour

I have left my car running more than once. I know my mistake. I blame it on the ease of not having a key to pull out. My car ran today for 3 1/2 hours before someone noticed it running and told me about it. Maybe have a different sound than the panic alarm. This could alert the driver possibly, but it could also help if there were an emergency. For instance if a driver has a medical emergency it could alert passerby that there is trouble. If they can make the lights dim automatically, the wipers come on when needed etc. I think this would be nothing to add to the already wonderful electronics.
