Im a framer..i put a cable that dewalt sells that connects to the drill and tool belt.incase it it falls.and i use a big battery,lithium..so i had an idea,if they were to put a power cord and attachment to both ends of the safety cord.you can make a thin battery back that you can put in your tool belt.or the battery pack can have a pouch to put around your shoulder or with a belt around your waist.and the cord would still work as the fall protection,and power cord..it would be much lighter.i made one but just with a regular cord..but can use a small bungee cord..ok that's one of many ideas i have.if there is already one in the market then disregard..i havent seen one yet..but would be cool if dewalt made one..i prefer that brand over all
