20 Volt Max 16 Gauge Sheathing Stapler

The only company ever to produce a 1/2 inch crown 16 gauge cordless sheathing stapler was Paslode with the impulse technology. It was discontinued a few years ago (probably because it was too slow for framers using it for sheathing). It was however PERFECT for vinyl siding installation. It came with a vinyl siding attachment (to center and space the staples away from the wall to allow the siding to hang). I still use the paslode daily but am concerned that it will break down as the parts are not available anymore. Plus the impulse technology is not usable in the winter time as the cartridges do not produce enough pressure. So in the winter I have to pull out my compressor and hose. I currently use the Dewalt 20 volt max narrow crown stapler for installing soffit and fascia. It is perfect and works flawlessly even through the cold winter months. You have produced a 9 gauge fencing stapler and I am sure that you could modify the driver and staple holder to fit a 1/2 inch crown 16 gauge staple. There was a company that actually converted a cordless paslode sheathing stapler to fire 9 gauge fencing staples and it was only the driver and staple holder that changed. I believe that Dewalt could be first to market a 16 gauge sheathing stapler and it would sell well. I have been installing siding for 16 years and going cordless was a game changer. I hate going back to a compressor and hose in the winter time. I hope that you will take my idea into serious consideration. I would buy one in a heartbeat. I am tired of paying for fuel cells for the paslode.
