Enhanced Forward And Reverse Direction Control.
Cub Cadet Product Improvement IdeaSubmitted 4 years ago
I own and operate a new 46" cub cadet .ive owned a cadet since 1979 ,it was a 1967 model 123 Hydrostatic . I was completely restored over time ,I recently sold the machine and with the funds ($2 k dollars) bought the new 46" cadet.
In driving the new cadet i was quick to notice that foot shifting f to r was slow and tiresome . After a few hours of use I decided to modify the method for direction F Or R by designing a attachment to the pedal system.
.photos will be provided.
I have quickened my mowing time through use of the attachment .and have reduced the stress on my right foot and leg.
As a retired Mgr of Purchasing ,Parts Div with the old IHC Co. I'm most familiar with the profitability generated through Parts sales.
I request to speak to a CUB CADET representative about further development of my idea that as potential application to all foot controlled cadets ,new and old .
