Problem Solved: Resorts, Cruise Ships and other vacation spots deal with chair, chaise and umbrella "hogs" daily. People will rush to the chair, chaise or umbrella early in the morning and "reserve" the item with no intention of using said item for hours or all day. They will place an item such as a towel on the chair and assume that it is now "taken" from anyone else using it. This stops others from the ability to use the chair, chaise or umbrella for their pleasure in a timely manner.
Gives a clear signal to all parties that the chair, chaise, umbrella are free to use. No one has to wonder and all parties are aware this is the system in use for fair usage of item.
