Being a tournament bass angler my family always can be counted on for purchasing me a Bass Pro gift card during the holidays or on birthdays. While this is appreciated (and always gets used) they tend to miss the mark of being a "personalized gift". Allowing a person to create a online listing (gift registry) of items that are desired personalizes this practice. Identical to what other stores do for bridal showers/weddings. The person purchasing the gift can easily shop (online) knowing they bought something the receiver actually wanted. The receiver of the gift feels as though the buyer actually spent some time selecting that perfect gift. Bigger ticket items could be shared by the family, etc. Gift wrapping a nice touch as well.
