I was watching the outdoor channel recently, and saw that there's a fake tree product that was utilized on Drury Outdoors that appeared to be effective, as the deer weren't alarmed by the new tree, but used it for rubs and scrapes. Transitioning to my idea, I was setting up my treestand today, and after I cut a few shooting lanes and got the stand hung, I wished that I had more cover on one side of the tree. That's when I thought, circling back to the artificial tree product, that an artificial limb product could also be helpful. They could be sold with detachable leaves to change for each stage of the season, and screw in similarly to bow holders. They may also be found effective for those who wish to hunt on the ground for a quick way to concealment. If an fake tree doesn't spook deer, I doubt that a few extra limbs would. This product may be a poor idea, or already out there, but I thought I'd share.
