Bighead and silver carp are invasive species in the Mississippi river system both reach large sizes and are filter feeders. This makes fishing difficult.my idea to create fishing rods and reels that might be effective to control them. Anybody who has caught them on rod and reel they say they put up a fight. The way my idea works is: the Asian carp smasher has the typical shape of fishing rods, the end of the line contains 1 or 2 dough ball or dough ball mimics encased in a light metal holder with a small trebble hook on a small bit of line. The particals of the dough should have a slight chemical trace in them because the particles mimic the plankton they eat the carp open close there mouth as they move to the source of the particles and the hook is sucked in through the filter feeding process and the fishes size and power gives it a fight. This idea can work there are millions of tons of carp give the people something to harass the potential power at 50 $ and you will be rich.
