Automotive Maintenance

Dear sir:

My name is Pablo Morales. I'm writing to you because I would like to present a proposal to complement the driving courses being offered by driving schools around the country and I would very much appreciate your input on it.

Credible research on the subject of traffic safety indicates that around 10 to 15% of the car accidents on the road are caused by lack of automotive maintenance; this would be dramatically reduced if the driving schools would implement in their curriculum classes on basic automotive maintenance.

I have looked at driving schools in Maryland where I use to live and now that I move to Florida I have found out that neither state has vehicle maintenance as part of the driving school curriculum. This leads me to believe that perhaps the majority of driving schools throughout the country do not implement this important and necessary subject as a priority.

Throughout my working life I have been involved with all kind of automotive vehicles. I have a CDL class A driving license, and a A.A. Degree in Automotive technology that my résumé will show.

My goal is to help minimize the percentage of automotive accidents by helping to improve the driving curriculum content starting in the state of Florida where I now live. Utilizing my knowledge and experience we can reach all the schools in the state and help them to implement this necessary and useful course.
