Zappos Hot Air Balloon

Hello!

I know Zappos has sponsored hot air balloon festivals such as the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta, which is awesome! I wanted to reach out to you and offer to extend the sponsorship into a Zappos hot air balloon program.

I am a commercial pilot licensed by the FAA for hot air balloons. I fly balloons for sport and pleasure having flown balloons all across the USA at hot air balloon events and even around the World. I am a member of Team USA and have represented the USA at the Jr. World hot air balloon championships.

I love hot air ballooning and I love sharing the sport, which is why it is awesome to see companies such as Zappos support ballooning by sponsoring balloon events. My wife and I have just started a not for profit, The Balloon Training Academy, which is designed to train, educate, and develop the next generation of hot air balloons pilots. The Academy is focused on getting people under the age of 30 into hot air ballooning and helping them achieve their pilots license.

Our goal with a Zappos hot air balloon would be to travel the USA attending hot air balloon events across the USA and share the sport of ballooning with others. We would focus on the younger crowd (those under 30) and get them interested in hot air ballooning. Zappos would greatly benefit from all the exposure. The balloon could also appear at concerts, sporting events, events Zappos sponsors and at community events.

We want to work with Zappos as a partnership to both benefit the Zappos brand as well as support the continued growth of hot air ballooning. My wife and I are not looking to make a career out of this, we both hold steady jobs which we also love....just not the same passion as flying. :)
