Travel Tablet (Travel Tab)

The ideal travel device would be a tablet the size of a cell phone. The smallest existing tablet (7 in screen) is too large to carry in a pocket and use unobtrusively on a street while tourist sightseeing. Existing tablets used openly make a tempting robbery target while cell-phone size devices would not. Cell phones purchased in one country are usually not useable in other countries, a disadvantage for travellers, do not have built-in GPS so they can be used without a data plan (difficult while travelling), and do not have Wi-Fi. The Travel Tab would have active GPS, Wi-Fi, be cell-phone size for maximum convenience, sufficient memory for travel apps (flight, hotel booking, tourist sites, restaurants, etc.), email ability at minimum. Millions of people travel internationally; many use laptops indoor or lug in a backpack but they are useless when active outdoors, fewer use smart-phones internationally because of their well-known problems and limitations. An inexpensive Travel Tab (say price of Galaxy Tab 4 (7.0) but cell-phone size would be attractive to many international travellers, not least me.
